In this webinar, Blue Water Homecare, Ascension-Seton Hospice and Accountable Aging host panelist Michael Carter, Hospice Chaplain with Seton Hospice for his presentation “Spiritual Care and Cultural Diversity”. Mr. Carter teaches us how to balance the spiritual needs of patients in a culturally diverse society.
Michael has served as both Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator with Seton Hospice for 3 years. He grew up in Charleston, SC, graduated from the College of Charleston and received his Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministries from Cornerstone Seminary in Harrisonburg, VA. After seminary, he planted a church in Richmond, VA and then moved to lead a church in Greenville, SC. While in Greenville he also volunteered as a Hospice chaplain at a local hospice house. Michael, and his wife Kim, have four grown children and five grandchildren.
